The New Kennedy

I ran into my friend Matt, self proclaimed next Kennedy, the other day at school and of course his outfit was looking on point per usual. Matt's style exudes a casual, sophistication with little effort. Pairing a flannel with a casual herringbone blazer with a skinny Levi jean, vintage naval flag belt and a pair of worn in Van sneakers. It's safe to say Matt's got it going on.

Get ready North Shore! Salem has never seen such hot store. Carrying the latest in skate, bmx and apparel, LGNDS is taking the genre to the next level. LGNDS, is hitting the North Shore in a big way. LGNDS will open Nov. 13, 2010 on Pickering Wharf in Salem.

Guru behind LGNDS, Ricky Brandano, graphic designer and web developer has created a hot, innovative brand and store that's ready to jump off.  Brandano has begun branding the name starting with a collection of American Apparel men's and women's t-shirts, embroidered hoodies and LGND sunglasses.

A few of the brands LGNDS will carry include: LRG, Rogue Status, Famous, and Mighty Healthy just to name a few. Not to mention the best skate decks and bmx parts the North Shore has seen.

During fashion week several designers introduced the fashion turband. I haven't been able to find a full headed one, I did find the head band version from
Gold Saturn.

Winter Trends

This winter purple is in a big way. Nar's stunning deep purple eye shadow is great for brown haired beauties looking to enhance their eye color. Givenchy deep maroonish purple lipstick is amazing. Don't be scared of color this season. Try introducing a dark purple nail by OPI.
Skinny cargo pants translate from fall into winter and will be a new staple in your wardrobe. Modest leather skirts are a great way to take an outfit to the next level. Dress down during the day with a cardigan and a clog and turn it up for a night on the town. Thigh highs, wooden platform clogs and fedora hats are the dominating trends for this season.

Jeffrey Campbell Obsession

I've totally given in to my Jeffrey Campbell obsession and ordered ANOTHER pair of boots. After basically living in my platform clogs this summer I don't think I can ever go back to a stiletto. That's a blatant lie, looking good is such punishment.
These red platform wooden boots are major. I can't wait until they arrive at my doorstep!

Cat Eyes

Cat eye sunglasses are this summer's hot trend. Ray Ban has jumped on the band wagon with a blue cat eye frame that I'm head over heels for. It's time to ditch the over sized Rachel Zoe shades.

Beach Daze

Along with the major sunburn I acquired today at the beach I got a chance to check out a lot of cute swim suits. Bandeau tops are it this season, lots of adornments and skimpy bottoms. The triangle top and tie bottoms are so ’90′s, get something fun, bright and flirty.
